No account system

CaptainTV does not require you to sign up or log in, so we do not collect any personal information such as your name, email, or password.

Watchlist

When you add a title to your watchlist, that data is saved locally in your browser only (using localStorage) — it is never sent to our servers. If you clear your browser data or switch devices/browsers, your watchlist will not carry over.

Cookies

We use a single simple cookie to remember your language preference (Arabic/English) so the site opens in the same language next time. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

Third-party services

• Movie & TV data: Titles, images, and ratings come from a licensed, publicly available data source. These requests are made from our server, not directly from your browser.
• YouTube: Official trailers are shown via an embedded YouTube iframe. Playing a trailer may be subject to YouTube/Google’s own privacy practices.

Children’s privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

We may update this page from time to time. Any changes will be reflected here directly.
